Hello and welcome to our French Immersion classroom !
My name is Mme Christine Laroche and I am teaching French Immersion to students in grades 4/5 as well as in grade 6 classes!
This year I will be working to help your children strengthen their understanding and use of the French language. To do so we will continue to build their vocabulary and use French in a variety of contexts and inquiries. It is very important that students always speak french in the classroom to improve their communication skills!!!
Homework - students can use this blog to access french music, some lyrics,
websites and tools to help them practise their skills in french!!

At the bottom of this blog (in the white section) you will find some mainstream French songs that the children can listen to, learn and even sing along with. Learning lyrics is a fun way to practise reading!
Please note the there are students in your child's class who have a life-thretening allergy to nuts, peanuts, tree nuts, dairy and eggs. We appreciate your diligence in ensuring that lunches always remain nut-free!
